Yes, I am Proud. Are you?

UNESCO announces INDIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM as the BEST National Anthem in the World! After reading a news like this, name an Indian who will not be proud. Indian National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana Written by Rabindranath Tagore is in Sanskritised Bengali. The music for the "current version" of our anthem is said to be from a composition for the song by Ram Singh Thakur, although some disagree with this. Here is the lyrics of Indian National Anthem.

Jana gaṇa mana adhināyaka jaya hē
Bhārata bhāgya Vidhātā
Pañjāba Sindhu Gujarāṭa Marāṭhā
Drāviḍa Utkala Baṅga
Vindhya Himācala ẏamunā Gaṅgā
Ucchala jaladhi taraṅga
Tava śubha nāmē jāgē
Tava śubha āśiṣa māgē
Gāhē tava jaya gāthā
Jana gaṇa maṅgala dāyaka jaya hē
Bhārata bhāgya vidhātā
Jaya hē jaya hē jaya hē
Jaya jaya jaya jaya hē

Here is more from the Indian government on Indian National Anthem.

What more can you ask for. Every time you listen to this national anthem, I bet you start singing. It has such an influence in every Indian's life.

Once again our National Anthem has made us proud. Jai Hind!

I know even i would be happy, but I don't think this is true. sorry to disappoint you. But , I see no reason why they should be doing this, judging the anthems, you know. You haven't given any source from where you heard it, an authentic one .
